About the Author:

Keith lives on the Isle of Wight and is an accomplished solo offshore Yachtsman. He lost the use of his left arm in a motorway accident in 1991, so he really is your genuine single handed yachtsman. What is incredible is that not only has his disability not prevented him from living his dreams, it’s spurred him on to better things. In 2015 he takes on the pinnacle of solo sailing by sailing single-handed and non stop around the world in his World Challenge.

Its not easy marking and drilling holes using the single handed technique that we both use. I’ve found that I rely on a lot of grey Duck tape these days to hold things in place.
But that can be just as frustrating as well, trying to cut the tape off the roll without sticking to itself, then dropping the roll on to the floor.
Which of course causes the tape roll end to become all mangled or stuck down tight to the roll itself.
My use of the French Language has improved immeasurably over the last few years, although a native Frenchman would hardly agree.

keep the posts coming… it gives me hope, I’m doing an alternator upgrade myself at the moment.as part of changing my service batteries from sealed lead acid to LifePo4.
I might post something online myself about it. I gave up on the website a while back..
