Feeling 1350 ‘Marathon’

Feeling 1350 ‘Marathon’

This is my new boat for the Round the World Challenge. She’s a Feeling 1350 named Marathon and she is going to take me on the adventure of a lifetime.

I took delivery two weeks ago, and she is now on the hard in at the yard in Cowes, replacing keel bolts and rigging up  Up to date I have removed so far 7 nuts in 9 days trust me there not as simple as they look.  the first one took  4 days then the second one was three day and to day I managed three nuts ( I’m so happy ) with the help of my son Anthony and Julian Megson. another very good disable sailor.

About the Author:

Keith lives on the Isle of Wight and is an accomplished solo offshore Yachtsman. He lost the use of his left arm in a motorway accident in 1991, so he really is your genuine single handed yachtsman. What is incredible is that not only has his disability not prevented him from living his dreams, it’s spurred him on to better things. In 2015 he takes on the pinnacle of solo sailing by sailing single-handed and non stop around the world in his World Challenge.
